Hampton Inn & Suites Harlingen

Great place to stay. The sheets and pillows were soft and cozy, breakfast was hot and filling, rooms were nice and quiet. Slept great and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I rarely write reviews and even more rare positive ones. BUT this Hampton Inn and employees were excellent. The room was clean, the manager friendly and efficient. There were 2 small issues, but the manager had sent me a text inquiring about my stay. When I mentioned the 2 items she stated she would have maintenance fix one item. The other request was solved by her purchasing an item and placing in the room. That is Customer Service! I will definitely stay there in the future and highly recommend.

The rooms - linens, beds, furniture & bathrooms, etc. are clean, which is most important to us, along with a decent breakfast and the major news networks on TV. Plus, our kids like the other amenities. If you don’t want to pay for a pricey luxury hotel, but still want to stay at a decent one, Hampton Inns have consistently been a good choice for us in the TX cities we travel to.

I rarely give 5 stars for ANYTHING but this hotel deserves it! I believe what made this hotel exceptional was that it delivered on the simple things that matter. It was clean, there were no bugs and I couldn’t find any issues, which is a huge deal because I’m quite meticulous. Front desk and ancillary staff were kind, meeting my customer service expectations. The complimentary breakfast and coffee was also quite good. Also there were 4 sets of towels in the rooms, not 3, which is also a big deal for someone who doesn’t reuse face towels! So if you’re ever in Harlingen, I would highly recommend this place for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I had a bad experience with an Airbnb in Los fresnos which caused me to search for a hotel room... Unfortunately I could not find a hotel room in Brownsville because of some conventions that were going on so I ended up driving over to Harlingen... I stumbled upon the Hampton Inn and I'm so glad I did... The place is spotless and has a great team... Whoever is running this hotel knows what they're doing by hiring the best of the best... When I first arrived there Chris on the midnight shift was the best he was very welcoming and got me a room right away. The morning breakfast was done very well the breakfast attendant "Dee" obviously takes pride in her work. We had a polar vortex going on across the country so temperatures got really cold and at the same time the heater unit in my room crapped out... I called the front desk and Jesse came up... Within minutes they literally switched out my heater unit and installed a new thermostat. I couldn't believe how fast the team worked together. I was toasty warm within minutes! If you're in the Harlingen Texas area and you need a clean and comfortable place to hang your hat this is the place! Sorry for the other team members that I did not get their names but thank you to all!

A bell, or some type of device, to get the front desk attendant would be helpful.

Breakfast was hot. You can make yourself the cutest Texas shaped waffle. Juice tasted like flavored tap water. But coffee was hot and fresh. The room was comfy but clear it wasn't thoroughly cleaned, evidenced by the hair on the side of the tub and the floor in the bathroom. Didn't make a fuss cause we were only there for the night. There were complimentary cookies and coffee during the afternoon/evening.
